Lemongrass

Description

I grow in the corner of the greenhouse, the stalks can be harvested and frozen to use through the year.

• Sow under cover in modules at 20 degrees, cover with a layer of compost and keep at a constant temperature, can be helped by covering with a polythene bag to keep moist. Can be a bit difficult to germinate and may take unto 40Days! Be patient and sow more than you need, just one plant will be all you need for the season. Likes being warm so keep in greenhouse, perhaps in a container. It forms a clump and this can be propagated by division in Spring. Doesn’t like frost.
