Description
A blue variety, I grow this for the bees! They love it but its also great in the kitchen, it’s a bit like mint and can be used to make tea and has some medicinal benefits.
Sow indoors Mar-Apr. Sow direct May-Jun. Sow indoors 5mm deep into individual pots of moist well-drained seed compost. Germination takes 14-21 days. Plant out after last frosts with 45cm spacing. Direct sow in drills and thin to 45cm spacing. Prefers fertile well-drained soil in full sun. Water well until established. Requires little attention.
