These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made from Queen of Seed. By placing an order through the Queen of Seed website, you agree to these terms.

Orders

All orders are subject to availability.

I do my best to ensure that product descriptions, photographs and prices are accurate. Occasionally mistakes can happen and I reserve the right to correct an error or cancel an order where necessary. If an order that has already been paid for has to be cancelled by Queen of Seed, a full refund will be given.

I produce and save much of the seed supplied by Queen of Seed myself. As availability can vary from season to season, I may occasionally need to supplement my own seed stocks. Where I do, seed will be sourced from reputable suppliers within the UK.

Seed varieties supplied as part of a subscription may occasionally need to be changed due to availability. Where this happens, I will substitute them with an appropriate alternative.

Seed Subscriptions

Queen of Seed subscriptions are planned in advance and seed is purchased, grown, saved and allocated according to subscriber numbers.

Monthly Subscriptions

Monthly subscriptions are charged each month and continue until cancelled.

You can cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future payments. Cancellation must be made before the next payment is taken.

Payments that have already been taken are non-refundable, except where you have a statutory right to a refund.

Annual Subscriptions

Annual subscriptions are purchased and paid for as a full subscription year.

Annual subscription payments are non-refundable once purchased, except where you have a statutory right to a refund.

You may cancel an annual subscription at any time to prevent it renewing for a further year. Cancelling during the current subscription year does not provide a refund for the remaining months.

Your seeds will continue to be sent for the remainder of the subscription period that you have already paid for.

Renewals

Where a subscription is set to renew automatically, payment will be taken using the payment method provided unless the subscription is cancelled before the renewal date.

Please ensure that your contact, delivery and payment details are kept up to date. Any changes to subscription pricing will be communicated where required before the next renewal.

Refunds & Returns

I hope you’ll be happy with your Queen of Seed order, but if there is a problem please contact me at info@queenofseed.co.uk.

Unused and unopened seed packets purchased individually may be returned in accordance with your statutory cancellation rights. Please contact me before returning anything.

Unless required by law, I cannot accept returned seed packets that have been opened.

Subscriptions are non-refundable once purchased, subject to your statutory consumer rights.

If an item supplied is faulty, damaged or incorrect, please contact me and I will put it right. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

Seed Germination

I take great care to provide good-quality seed and provide sowing and growing information to help you get the best results.

However, seeds are a natural product and germination and subsequent plant growth can be affected by many things outside my control, including temperature, compost, watering, sowing depth, weather, storage and individual growing conditions.

For this reason, I cannot guarantee germination or accept responsibility for germination failure once seed has been supplied.

If you are having difficulty with a particular seed, please do get in touch. I’m always happy to offer growing advice where I can.

Delivery

Orders will be sent to the delivery address supplied when ordering.

Please make sure your address is correct and let me know promptly if you change address during a subscription.

Queen of Seed cannot be responsible for an order being sent to an incorrect or previous address where updated details have not been provided. Delivery times are estimates and delays caused by postal services are outside my control. If you believe an order has been lost or damaged in transit, please contact me.

Gift Subscriptions

Gift subscriptions are subject to the same subscription terms.

Please ensure the recipient’s name and delivery address are correct when ordering. Gift subscriptions are non-refundable once purchased, except where you have a statutory right to a refund.

Prices & Payment

All prices shown are in pounds sterling (£).

Prices may change from time to time. Any price change will not affect an order that has already been paid for.

For subscriptions, the price applicable at renewal will be the subscription price notified to you before renewal where required.

Payment must be received before an order is dispatched.

Growing Information

Any sowing dates, growing instructions or gardening advice supplied by Queen of Seed are intended as guidance.

Growing conditions vary considerably depending on location, weather and individual gardens, so results may differ. Further sowing and growing information can be found on the Queen of Seed website.

Liability

Queen of Seed will not be responsible for losses resulting from circumstances outside my reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

Privacy

Personal information supplied when placing an order will be handled in accordance with the Queen of Seed Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection law. Customer information will only be used where necessary to process orders, manage subscriptions, communicate with you or as otherwise explained in the Privacy Policy.
