Spinach – ‘Medania’

Description

• Spinach is good to sow at times that will encourage leaf and not the flower. Best times to sow, if you are sowing indoors are February to April and late July. If sowing outside direct then sow from March to April and then early July. I also like to do a winter sowing, about early to mid September for leaves through winter but these you will have to cover or grow on inside. 
• Sow a few seeds per module, cover with compost, keep moist and plant out as a clump, you can sow into seed trays and prick out but plants are a bit spindly so benefit from a group planting I think. 
• Planting will be about 4 weeks from sowing and plant them about 15cm apart.
