- When/where : Sow undercover in modules or seed trays or sow direct, from March. Sow the seeds 13mm deep and cover with compost.
- Plant: Full sun or dappled shade, any soil type, its not too fussy. When large enough to handle, after frosts into final growing position with a spacing of 60cm. Plants are perennial and will come back year after year. Will also benefit from a haircut in June to stimulate fresh leaf. Flowers June-October.
