One of my most favourite flowers to grow and it’s a useful herb too. Sow in undercover in modules or seed trays. Sow 2mm deep and cover with layer of compost. Germinates in 10-20 days approx. Prick out and grow on and then transplant when large enough to handle at a spacing of 30cm from late spring but after the last frosts so take care. Can be sown direct from end April – August.
Deadhead if you do not want it to self-seed. If you wish to collect seed allow the spherical heads to become dry and brown before cutting
