- Sow: undercover with warmth (greenhouse, propagator, inside house) in February/March, or sow in Autumn, in seed trays or modules, don’t cover the seed but sow on the surface, they need light to germinate and keep them moist.
- Plant out into their final flowering position once they have outgrown the pots ( i.e. when the roots have filled the planting pot and are coming out of the bottom), they should be about 3 inches or so and thin seedlings to 50cm apart. Full sun, any soil, mid to back border. Flowers: July-November. Height 60cm. Will self seed if not deadheaded.
